KERATOCONUS
The eye ailment known as keratoconus (ker-uh-toe-KOH-nus) is characterized by a gradual outward bulging of the cornea, in which the clear, dome-shaped front of the eye becomes thinner.
Symptoms
- Distorted or Fuzzy Vision
- Enhanced sensitivity to glare and bright light
- Frequent change in prescriptions for eyewear.
- Age 14 years of age or older
- About a week
